Q: Why is X line not perfectly translated from Japanese?
Before all other things, I'm an English writer. I will try and make sure it makes sense in
English, even if it means not putting in EVERY SINGLE WORD that Japanese has. If I make outright
errors, then call me on them. Please. I'm still unsure on a couple lines myself. But don't say
"Hey, you left out the word Sekkaku, which would add a second "at last" that you FORGOT". That's
just lame. As Taishi would say, "komakai koto ha ki ni suru na" (don't worry about the little things).
Q: And why do you swear so much?
Because Randou and most of the other guys in this manga swear a lot, too. I mean, c'mon, they're punks. It's hard
to be a polite punk...
Q: Why do chapters 1 and 2 look different from the others?
I was an idiot and tried to use Word to format the first two, since Textpad and Notepad don't have Japanese support.
Boy, was that a mistake.
Q: Why don't Rina's parents have names?
They do. They're Kurimi Kazuki and Kurimi Youko. But even THEY call each other papa and mama, so why should I use their names?
Q: How fast are these going to come out?
Well, I can do a chapter in about 4 hours, with a slight increase in output each time I gain more experience.
So expect about two chapters a week, maybe more, maybe less, until I'm caught up with the current Jump.
I started subscribing recently, so I shouldn't have too many problems keeping up.
Q: How many chapters of Pretty Face are there, anyway?
As of today, March 23? 42. There will be a 43rd by tomorrow, and then a new one every week 'til it ends.
Q: Where are the images?
Shuueisha hasn't given me the OK to use any of their images on this site yet,
so I won't put any here. I might put up some doujin art, though.
